2019-2020 ALLIANCE LEGISLATIVE BILL AGENDA
We combined our efforts with other leadership and members of The Alliance of Public Retiree Organizations of NY (APRO). The Alliance is an organization comprised of several public employee retiree organizations including United Police & Fire Retiree Association (UPFRA), NYS Public Employees Federation (PEF), NYS Management/Confidential Employees (OMCE), NYPD Retirees, Retired Police Association (RPA), NYS Encon Police Retirees in addition to numerous Fire Retiree associations to name a few. The Alliance reportedly represents combined concerns of 1,400,000 retiree voters statewide.

- Recognizes ALL Honorably Discharged Military Veterans who retired any time prior to 5/31/2016, had served in the Military at any time and is Honorably Discharged. Such retired veterans would be eligible for a supplemental pension payment of .25% per month of active duty service up to a max of 36 months or 3%.
